Just got to say…SO PROUD of the NJ Devils for making it to the Stanley Cup Finals….I am not from NJ originally, but I cheer for the Devils (I grew up in Boston territory, and while I am a Bruins fan, and also a SJ Sharks fan, the Devils are a team I can get behind because 1) I never hated them with a passion, 2) c’mon….Marty Brodeur, Illya Kovalchuk, and Captain America Zach Parise??) I was in a bar in Hoboken last night when they won, and I definitely got excited about it. I hope to see Lord Stanley’s Cup paraded down Broad St. in a few weeks…and even though I will be at work, I luckily will be working right near the Prudential Center :)
Starting internship Tuesday…
I am pretty excited…my first foray into immigration law, working for a non-profit org. Going to hopefully get to do some asylum work, maybe family reunification…don’t know what my assignments are yet. I also plan on being on my A-game…got to REPRESENT….all of my co-workers go to T-14 schools, and I go to Rut….somewhere else…..All I know is that the thing I am most nervous about is fucking up, because with immigration law, peoples lives are kinda in your hands.
Let’s just home I rock it.
The first one is actually funny, because my mom keeps telling me I should move back to Boston when I am done….the 2nd is EXACTLY true.
